Guardian ad Litem Foundation receives donation of Target gift cards from SecurityNational Mortgage Company

FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 16, 2021) – The Guardian ad Litem Foundation, 20th Judicial Circuit, received a $2,500 donation of Target gift cards through V & M Mortgage Group at SecurityNational Mortgage Company.The donation will allow volunteer child advocates to purchase essential items like clothing, linens, toiletries and school supplies for youth in the child welfare system. Guardian ad Litem and its volunteer child advocates serve children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned as they navigate the judicial, education and child welfare systems.SecurityNational, a retail mortgage lender, selected Guardian ad Litem as its charity of focus for 2021, and Southwest Florida’s Guardian ad Litem Foundation was one of four in Florida to split $10,000 in gift cards. Other recipients include Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Tampa Bay, Voices for Children of Tampa Bay and Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Osceola County.“Our team is very excited about our new partnership with SecurityNational Mortgage Company and V & M Mortgage Group in Fort Myers,” said Jessica Stanfield, executive director of the foundation. “Their contributions to nonprofit organizations like ours make such positive impacts on the communities in which we live.
